Deflect doesn't just hit projectiles, it hits all attacks. Backstab isnt great against most normal enemies but very good against bosses that arent The Bone Hydra.ĭepending on how fast your weapon attacks or how big their special is, deflect is very strong.
She also has the boon that gives you extra backstab damage, which makes her the highest damaging god that has a 2nd damage scaling boon. same with hera and hidden shield (tho i do it with those less often)Īnd don’t forget that deflecting isn’t only a defensive action! it can do major dmg!Īll of her damage boons are tied with second largest damage bonus at 40% extra damage on a common level attack boon (Posedion might be more powerful on special.) like if u have arty special on aspect of achilles (going for hunting blades or crystal clarity or something), adding divine strike gives another easy way to a strong duo. u can ignore the special or grab artemis special or smthĭeadly reversal in general is a good duo to add to cast builds because artemis is usually involved in cast builds. it might sound memey but u can go pretty far with it. i sometimes grab it on rail speed runs since i usually use zeus attack and it’s an easy way to build towards a strong duo that doesn’t take much gameplay change.ĭivine strike on the hidden sword aspect is a really fun run. I also really enjoy lightning phalanx duo, can be great for aspect of poseidon sword (get zeus aid and athena cast) and easily fits into other builds (for instance aspect of poseidon w artemis attack, divine flourish + cast, and zeus aid already sets u up for two strong duos (deadly reversal and lightning phalanx) and adding poseidon or aphro could get u another.Īthena cast is also just a great add-on for a strong strong dps build that doesn’t need cast damage, because a boon like brilliant riposte or blinding flash can empower u a lot without having to think abt it. Merciful end on demeter fists (and a lot of aspects) with divine flourish + dash, ares attack is one of the strongest builds in the game (this is also a good build for athenas aid). She’s not the best god but i still love using her! here are some ideas:
